Katy Perry is known for her often flamboyant sense of style.
But the pop sensation opted for something a little more cartoon friendly for a promotional appearance in Cancun, Mexico.
The 28-year-old donned a blue themed outfit for the Summer of Sony annual event to pump her Smurfs 2 movie, on Monday.

Sporting a blue floral lace dress and a thin belt, the Firework singer was the picture of early 60s glamour as she posed for snaps in the highly coveted vacation destination.
Her outfit featured Jackie O sunglasses, a blue floral headband, and statement earrings.
Adorning her feet were a pair of shiny silver pumps, which placed the final touch on her classic but Smurf-friendly look.

The black haired bombshell posed for snaps with Smurfs castmates Neil Patrick Harris and Hank Azaria.
Hank, a veteran voice actor with The Simpsons, appeared to have a great time during the day's promotional duties.
Dressed in blue jeans and a black button down, the funnyman mugged playfully for the cameras and even mimicked the body posture of his beautiful co-star by resting his hand on his hip just at the same moment as Katy.

Neil was slightly more laid back in a pair of strappy sandals and tan trousers.
The How I Met Your Mother star sported a thin blue button down shirt as he smiled for the cameras.
But Katy was the star of the show as she horsed around with the costumed version of her onscreen character.

The singer portrayed Smurfette in the 2011 Smurf movie and has reprized her iconic role in the upcoming sequel.
In a show for the cameras, Katy gave a costumed version of Smurfette a hug while giggling with delight.
The scene was more than adorable as the star was clearly having a good time with the tongue-in-cheek display.
The animated sequel is set for release in July and also co-stars Sofia Vergara and Alan Cumming.
